MY STORY

"Music has always called to me, intuitively, from

somewhere within. I feel my songs long before I sing

them, coupled with an instinct to draw that music out

into the physical world. I was afraid that this call might

disappear as I got older, but it has remained. The songs

have gotten more clear, and their call is only getting

                                                                     stronger.

I've been writing music for almost a decade. Ever since I

was a little girl, I have wanted to sing; music has always

been my favorite form of self-expression. I started making music officially on the GarageBand app,  combining my voice with layered instruments — my piano, my ukulele, app presets — to create my own songs. When I went to college, I pursued a degree in Psychology, studying how people work and why we become who we are, but music was always there, a tiny flame I nurtured in the evenings and in scribbled notes on notebook margins. When school was over, the music was waiting on the other side to envelop me totally. It was time to begin my real career, the dream one.

I've learned that when I perform on stage, I get a

feeling that nothing else has ever given me — a

sense of connection, of being alive. I love making

music. I refuse to cage my art within a genre; I

feel that the essence of who you are can get

muddied when we focus too heavily trying to

be “marketable” all of the time. That should

never take precedence over who you truly are,

what you truly want to create. I love all of the

unique sounds that exist within music and I

resonate with a lot of them in different ways.

I've learned that music gives me a voice that I will use to inspire people to believe in the beauty of their existences. We are all valuable, merely by breathing; we should all be unapologetic about who we are. We are all unique energies, but I believe we share a collective connection; loving myself means loving the universe and all its inhabitants, and vice versa. This is the message of love, beauty, and interwovenness that I pour into my music.

I've learned that music is what I'm meant to be doing; thank you for supporting my journey."

With love,
